  • If visiting Dubrovnik old town in the summer, plan to go early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat.

  • It’s best to avoid being in the sun for too long, especially between  11 am 3 pm when it’s the hottest so you dont get burnt or sun sick.  The Old Town stone can make that heat slightly more intense.

  • Avoid the huge crowds in old town on days there are a lot of cruise ships in port. Check the cruise ship schedule & plan activities outside of the old town for the time the ships are in port.
